The Vagamon ULtrail began in 2016 as an internal trail running gathering organized by Soles of Cochin for its running community in Vagamon. The organizers were drawn to Vagamon’s hills and natural terrain as an ideal training ground for long-distance trail running.
In 2018, the event opened to the public and quickly became Kerala’s leading trail-running event. As participation grew year after year, Vagamon ULtrail gained popularity among runners transitioning from road marathons into trail and ultra-distance running.
Today it stands as:
Kerala’s best-known ultra trail event,
one of South India’s top trail races,
and a key event in India’s growing ultra-running calendar.
