The 13th edition of the Ladakh Marathon continued the event’s global reputation as one of the world’s premier high-altitude races. Thousands of runners from India and abroad participated across six race disciplines while organizers maintained strong sustainability and logistical standards in extreme Himalayan conditions.
The 2024 edition witnessed strong participation across all categories, especially the Silk Route Ultra and Khardung La Challenge. Rigzin Gyurmeth won the men’s Silk Route Ultra in 13:19:16, while Tenzin Dolma claimed the women’s title.
