Tata Mumbai Marathon

The Tata Mumbai Marathon course is known for combining iconic urban scenery, coastal stretches, historic architecture, and energetic crowd support. The marathon traditionally starts near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in South Mumbai and passes through several landmark areas including Marine Drive, Haji Ali, Worli, Mahim, Bandra, and the famous Bandra-Worli Sea Link before returning toward South Mumbai. The course is considered moderately challenging due to Mumbai’s humidity, rolling flyovers, and long exposed stretches along the coastline. In recent editions, the Mumbai Coastal Road has also been incorporated into the route for the first time, marking a significant modernization of the race course. Spectator support throughout the city is regarded as one of the best in Asia.
