Tamil Nadu’s Fast-Growing City Marathon Celebrating Fitness, Community Running, and the Spirit of Coimbatore
The Coimbatore Marathon is an annual road running event held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, typically in December. Since its launch in 2013, the event has evolved from a city-level running initiative into one of Tamil Nadu’s most prominent marathon events, attracting participants from across India.
More than a race, the Coimbatore Marathon is a community movement built around fitness, awareness, and philanthropy. The marathon is jointly owned by the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF) and Coimbatore Runners, with the entire proceeds going toward cancer-related initiatives through CCF.
